Ted Hughes ‘On Thinking’

Sadly the end of the poem Hughes reads,View of a Pig, is cut off, but otherwise this is still rather wonderful:

The last line of the poem is:

Scald it and scour it like a doorstep.

    Brilliance…so blindingly bright, it hurts the brain such
    complex thoughts could be so simply stated.

    This has been speeded up, he speaks slower in the original, which I have.
