I felt rather sad watching this knowing that Hoefler and Frere-Jones are parting ways acrimoniously.

Thanks for sharing this, and it is so sad to read about the break-up. The art of making fonts is fascinating. A good font can be so pleasing to the eye.
I think everyone is very sad about H & FJ. They did amazing work and were obviously friends before it went sour.
